I laugh in the face of the new Tropical Storm!

What an amazing few days it's been.

I did a cleanse day on Saturday while attending a wholistic health expo in Daytona.  I was able to talk with so many people about Isagenix and how amazing it is for the body.  Knowledge is power and I love being able to share that knowledge with others.

Sunday was tremendous as it was our day for a long run.  We planned on doing 10 miles, but ended up doing 12.  I felt great and kept my pace.  Plus I had so much energy from the previous day's cleanse.  I am at the pace I was when I did last year's Disney Princess Half Marathon.  I'm excited that now I know I can work on speed.

I did enjoy some beach time as well.  Walking slowly but walking and feeling the surf, sand and sun was quite enjoyable.

I have been so busy with Isagenix it has taken on a spirit of it's own as everyone wants these foods and this system.  It's truly amazing and truly the vehicle I have found to help others get healthy from the inside out.  People feel so AMAZING on Isagenix and so amazing when their body's are healthy and balanced.  One of my gals even told me that she was whistling the other day.  "I don't whistle!" she said.... but the effect was immediate.   More energy, better mental clarity, better moods, better sleep... and she's melting because the body is ridding her of those toxins.  Truly wonderful!

My other training has been going well.  I'm still doing my P90X routine regularly and I'm sore in all the right places.  Of course, I am also healing more quickly which is great.  When the body functions the way it was made to function, the effect is truly amazing.

We still ran on Monday and while we were sore, we just took it easy.  Consistency is key.  Yesterday was plyo day and today we ran again.  It was windy and not quite rainy but we pushed through that wind.  We cut a half mile off the run and really sprinted the last leg.  Which felt GREAT!  I felt like Forrest Gump - "We were RUNNING!"   then we went into the gym to do some weights and get on with our day.

I have some yoga to do this afternoon, but the rest of it is good good good.

It's time to get Lean and Mean for Halloween!  Take the journey with me and let's be healthy for life!

Week 2 of my 30 day and I DROPPED ANOTHER SIZE!

Wow wow wow!!!  That's all I can say.  I'm in week 2 of my 30 day cleanse with Isagenix.  After my initial 9-day where I lost about 5lbs and 10 inches overall, I have now been consistent in my 30 day program to rebalance my nutrition and health.  Plus, my training with my up and coming half marathon is going well.  PLUS my P90X is going very well.

Yesterday I had a burst of energy and Patti and I had a good run.  Despite the wind we managed a sprint at the end.  Then I came home and did my resistance workout for the day.  I spent the evening in Orlando at the Lululemon Showroom, where I had an educational event to teach people all about the benefits of full body cleansing and rebalancing the body with proper nutrition.  It's not necessarily about LOSING a lot of weight for the gals last night, but it's the lifestyle that we live.  We love health and wellness and fitness... but we also know that the environment has toxicity that we have no control over... until NOW.  Education is key when learning about how to combat this in our society today.  And the fact that I am able to help people consistently with the Isagenix system is unbelievable.

I wish I had these foods and this system 20 years ago because every single one of my clients would have reached their goals back then.  But it's never too late, because a lot of them are ready and using the system now.  And that's my mission... to help as many people become fully healthy as I possibly can.

On another note... after the nutrition discussion, and the private shopping... the lulu gals took me to play Cardio Tennis at the Winter Park Tennis Club.  Oh My God was that awesome!  I don't think I had picked up a tennis racquet in almost 30 years.  But we were running, laughing and sweating like crazy.  I love new exercise experiences that are unique in what they do but still related to outdoor sports.  It doesn't matter if I could hit the ball or not, but when I woke up today, I was definitely sore in some places I have not been in a long time.

Then of course, Patti and I ran our early am training run.  I came home and did 90 minutes of some Power Yoga....and I have swim practice later.  I tell you... I have so much more energy now that my body is healthy from the inside out.  Go Isagenix!!

Week 2 and TONS of energy!

Well this morning started my second week of my 30-day program. Yesterday was a cleanse day and I had SO much energy when I woke up. So much in fact that I ran 7 miles and came home to do my P90X. I love muscle memory. I slacked slighty with everything but swimming this summer and the miles, resistance and training is almost to where it was.

What is the best thing about running 7 miles in high beachy winds? Coming home and making a screaming cold, fabulously thick, all organic shake. 23 grams of indentured whey protein... And my liquid vitamin b3-12.... It's like immstarting the day over again.

Have been running around since. I can't keep this product a secret, not that I want to, but it is so encouraging that so many people are ready to get control of their health and make a difference.

We even have an informational call tomorrow night. Email me and I'll give you the code to call in. Amazing and outstanding. So many words yet I don't know if you can feel my enthusiasm in my writing. LOVE LOVE LOVE this system and foods. Yummmmmmm.

First Week of my 30 day - I feel amazing!

I have been so unbelievably busy I haven't had time to write much this week.  And I am out the door in 20 minutes for tonight's swim practice.

It would be so easy to not go because it is such a beautiful, sunny and relaxing night.... but how can one not goto the pool for practice when it is such a beautiful, sunny and relaxing night?

The week has been busy.  Some ups and some downs with my schedule and my food but overall I'm doing great.  I'm not overly hungry and my fitness routine is right on the mark.  Did I mention that I started P90X again this past week?  It will be my 3rd time through the system. I am sore but feeling good.  My running endurance is picking back up again as well.  The summertime was really a slack time.  Not completely slack because I still did my daily swim practice at the pool, but slack in terms of the running and weights.  But now I'm back at it all..... Swim / Run / Weights / Proper Nutrition.  And my energy is through the roof!

I wish I had the Isagenix Foods and Nutritional Rebalancing Program the first time I went through P90X.  My recovery time would have been less, my energy output would have been higher and the muscle mass would have increased more quickly.  But that's ok because I have it NOW and that's what matters.

I love the fact that before Isagenix I could not do a pull up... after Isagenix not only can I do a pullup... I can do A LOT of pullups!  That's pretty amazing.  When the body is clean on a cellular level and the pH is balanced and the homeostasis is within range... there is nothing that your body can't do.

There is still plenty of room on Team DEBO in terms of the Isabody Challenge.  Remember, it's $150,000!  Anyone want to share it with me?  Just shoot me an email - debo@321getfitt.com and we'll rock it.... like a hurricane (aprapos since there are 3 of them in the Atlantic today)

I started my 30 day cleanse today!

What an amazing day!  I can't believe it's already 5pm... where did the day go.

I started this morning with a 5.5 mile run with Patti... that went well.  My endurance is definitely getting back up there after all my travels and lack of my nutrition/ fitness routine this summer.  We have 2.5 months until the half marathon.  So we are dedicated and serious.

I also started my P90X officially this am.  Was I shaking when it was done!  I think I am going to be sore tomorrow.  I do like being sore though.  I can fee those muscle fibers healing as I type.  Do you ever work out so hard that you can barely lift your arms to wash your hair?  Yeah, me neither.....

After my workout, I spent a few hours at the Cocoa Beach Health and Fitness gym introducing my old clients and friends to the Isagenix Nutritional Rebalancing System.  Many have not recognized me because I have lost so much more weight with the system from when they knew me 5+ years ago.

From the gym, I ran to a meeting as I have recently joined another social group in the area.  The Hip Chicks of Brevard.  Amazing group of women.  Strong, empowered, educated women.  It's nice to be surrounded by that.

Now I am home having my dinner shake and soon to be off to coach a local girls soccer team with their PEP program (look it up)....

It's definitely a full and fabulous day.  I'll let you know tomorrow how sore I am!

What a week it has been!

What an amazing week it has been.  Despite the holiday, time with friends and time at a theme park I have MAINTAINED the weight I lost during my initial 9 day cleanse!  I am so excited about that.  I feel great and energized and today I am starting on my 30 day.  Tomorrow starts with p90X.  Plus my gal pal, Patti, and I are now getting serious about our half marathon training.  That event is the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

First can I say that the time I spent at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was just unbelievable.  The attention to detail and all that they did when creating that world.  And the ride was AMAZING.  I sampled a butterbeer (non alcoholic for me) as well as some pumpkin juice.  I had my shakes everday for breakfast and enjoyed some healthier options at the park.  Despite the fact that my one weakness are french fries - I was able to be strong and withstand the urge.  Discipline!  I substituted a salad for my fries and/or fresh fruit.  Those strawberries were GOOOOOOD.  I enjoyed a few pretzels (sans salt when I could) and even a few treats in Honeydukes.  While that chocolate cauldron looked amazing, I refrained and had a couple of caramels and a few of Berte Botte's every flavor beans.  :)  Those were, interesting, to say the least.

I don't know what has changed in terms of rollercoasters, but in my 'youth' I was able to go on coaster after coaster after coaster.  Now I seem to get ill on the escalator!  Seriously, though, the rides were amazing.  The forbidden journey was all I could imagine and more.  I think we went on that about a dozen times.  Perfect time to go during the off season b/c the lines were null and void.

I am home and back to my routine and anxious to start my P90X program again.  Today is a cleanse day - it's always easier for me to cleanse on Sunday's b/c other than the morning walk on the beach, we don't do much else.

I'll check in with you tomorrow!

The Day AFTER Labor Day

While my choices yesterday were VERY healthy, I still am human and ate a little more than I had anticipated.  So the scale is up a mere pound.  And you know what I say to that little pound?  NOTHING... because it will be gone by tomorrow as I am heading out for my Tuesday morning beach run.  Nothing beats it.  I laugh in the face of that little pound while I am running among the sand and surf.

Today and tomorrow were supposed to be my deep cleanse days, but I know I would be extending that until Friday and Saturday as I am having company.  What's great about the system, is that it fits with OUR schedule's.  So maybe I'm not cleansing today... I am still aware of healthy choices and my overall health.  And isn't that what it is all about?

Not so much the number on the scale but how we feel?

So goodbye little pound.  I'm going to run you off.... in more ways than one.

Labor Day Weekend

What an amazingly GLORIOUS weekend.  I know I have been MIA for a couple of days but I am back and more encouraged than ever.

I did my 9day (midway) measurements.  I am down a lot of pounds and inches and I am so proud to say that the journey is continuing.

A dear friend of mine from back home came to visit today so I decided to have some shakes earlier in the day to save room for the fabulous dinner we made.  And it was fabulous.  Bright and colorful fruits, vegetables, salads, and lean proteins.  Mmmmmmmm.....

Despite the monsoon here on the spacecoast, we enjoyed a fabulous walk on the beach - having to work even harder in the wind.  A lovely run is in store first thing in the am and some relaxing beach time and wave diving through the ocean.  It has calmed down significantly since the storms in the Atlantic have dissipated.

I have so much energy.  The Isagenix Foods and nutritional rebalancing system has really afforded me to stay healthy and fit.  Since my initial healthy lifestyle change and personal weight loss of 100lbs, it has been a struggle to keep the weight off... but once Isagenix came into my life I have never had it so easy.  It is truly amazing what putting the right foods, the right nutrients and the right balance into a cleansed and healthy body can do for you.  Absolutely amazing.  If this had come to me when I first started my personal journey towards health the only thing that would have changed... is that I would have gotten to the goals much faster.  I am truly thankful that this gift has been given to me AND that I am able to help others get to where they want to go.  I understand this as I had once been there and know EXACTLY what and how they feel.

Ok, enough for a fabulously long weekend and another beach day tomorrow!

In Health!

Glorious Beach Day

Yesterday morning started in my favorite way.... with an early morning team swim practice at sunrise.  Nothing is more inspiring than seeing the golden sunshine over the water.  I love swimming with the team, they are such great kids and so talented in the pool.  Great athletes.  We did a lot of 100y drills off the blocks for time and each time I blew away my timing goal.  I kept cutting the interval shorter and shorter and it felt great.  So much energy!

The rest of the day was spent running errands and building my business.  It was a great business building day.  Plus the sun is shining and the breeze is blowing.  Now we're just sitting and relaxing while playing with my new iPad.  Now that is a fun piece of equipment.

This weekend is going to be glorious.  Labor Day on the beach, the National Kidney Foundation's Annual Surf Contest and for the first time in almost 10 years, there are actually waves!  Thanks to the two hurricanes brewing out in the Atlantic.  This should be fun to watch.

Today started with another early morning swim.  The water is so warm, so it definitely makes practice tough, but we all hung in there and did some great sets.  Do I have enough time to rinse off the chlorine before heading down to the sand?

Still losing on Day 4- love how I feel using ISAGENIX

Here is is, the middle of day 4.  I was debating what I would do today in terms of my fitness.  I had initially planned to start my P90x again on Monday and I've done pieces of it here and there, but realizing that my good friend is coming to visit next week, I have decided to postpone it until after she's gone so I can focus on the program as it is meant to be instead of starting, stopping, starting stopping....

So I woke up this energy, down another 1/2 lb and full of energy.  I decided to go for a jog on the beach.  One thing I love about having moved to Florida from upstate NY many moons ago is just how wonderful a thing it is to live on the beach.  Walk out my back door and boom... the ocean.

I only ran about 2 miles, then I couldn't help it... took off my shoes and splashed the rest of the way home through the waves.  The water looked so inviting and the sun was so bright and hot... the water was so refreshing.  At one point, there was a hippie on the beach, just sitting in the sand and playing his wooden flute... sounded very much like American Indian music.  I sat and listened to the music disappearing in the wind and the sounds of the crashing waves.  And those waves were crashing.  We have three hurricanes out there brewing and sharking in the Atlantic right now.  Should make for an interesting Labor Day weekend, that's for sure.  I can guarantee the surfer's will be out there in the hundreds.... despite the rip current warnings.

I am now debating between my afternoon team swim or yoga or even both.  I'm quite comfortable with the ocean breeze coming in, plus there is early morning swim tomorrow so I'm thinking yoga with the breeze and swim in the am.

I am feeling amazing in terms of my 9 day cleanse.  This program is so easy to follow.  Never hungry, never deprived of energy, just feel so energized all the time.  Plus the foods are delicious.  There will be four days next week that it might be harder to follow than normal, but that's due to the company and not being home for a few days.  I will just have to make the best and healthiest choices I can, and that will be easy as well.  Just pack the magic bullet and I can have my shakes everyday.

Plus, if I really need something sweet I can have my Isadelight's.  Those are the most amazing chocolate snacks I have ever had.  They truly are the happy chocolates.  Dark chocolate infused with so many antioxidants it's like eating a cup of blueberries.  Yum.

Ok, time for yoga I think.  Yoga and the ocean breeze.... how perfect is that?

Day 3 of the 9-day (down 5.4 lbs and 6.7 inches)

Good morning!  So this mornings workout was rougher than I had anticipated.  I met the gang to go for an easy 5 mile run, then I had planned to goto the pool as there was a 6:30am swim practice for another 90 minutes.  That's my usual day, however halfway through the run I just had no energy.  I did push myself, drank a lot of water and made it through with the help of the group encouraging me along.

For the life of me I couldn't figure out why my energy was so depleted and when I came home, I realized that I had forgotten to take my Ionix Supreme (that's my liquid vitamin B3-12) for the last several days.  The Ionix Supreme (AKA - happy juice or Bionix Supreme) is almost like instant energy, and I forgot to take it.  That won't happen again, I can assure you.

So I'm sitting in my home office, sipping my morning shake with my Ionix Supreme and it's a complete power boost.  I'm going to do some work for my business this morning and then do my P90x workout for the day later this am.  I am very much looking forward to that again.  And if I'm in the mood I might swim for the evening practice, and if not I'll go for a walk on the beach.  Either way it's going to be a beautiful day.

Oh - and I am down 5.4 lbs and 6.7 inches.  The system works.  If that's not motivation for you I don't know what is.

As a fitness professional, I have seen / heard / tried everything on the planet.  Let me rephrase - I have RESEARCHED everything on the planet that has come my way.  My clients constantly ask me what I do, what I use, etc because they want to use it as well.  Now I won't recommend anything unless I try it myself and I wont' try it myself until I research it to one inch of it's life.  Every single system on the planet has fallen short of my standards because if it's not good enough for me then it SURE is not good enough for my clients.  So again, everything has fallen short..... UNTIL I was introduced to the Isagenix Cleansing and Nutritional program.

It's not difficult to describe, but it is difficult for you to see just how passionate I am about these products when I am just writing about them.  For me, I cannot imagine a day in my life where I won't put the Isagenix Foods into my body.  All natural, all organic, no toxins, no chemicals, no hormones.... the way our food was supposed to be so our bodies can operate at their most optimal level - the way they were created to be!

I feel amazing today.  It might have started rough, but my chocolate shake of 23 grams of a grade 7, undenatured whey protein (gluten free, wheat free, barley free and 96% lactase free - which is perfect for my food allergies) I have my energy back and I'm ready to go for that swim now!  Although I have a lot of work to do, so maybe I'll go later today.
